PetroHab™ manufactures, leases, sells, and maintains Hot Work Safety Enclosures — also known as Pressurized Welding Habitats — designed to protect workers performing hot work in potentially explosive and hazardous industrial environments.
Our habitats create a pressurized, controlled environment that isolates the work area from flammable gases and vapors, allowing critical welding, cutting, and maintenance operations to proceed safely on live oil and gas infrastructure — without costly shutdowns.
Every PetroHab™ product is engineered to the highest international safety standards and certified to ATEX and IECEx requirements, giving operators, safety managers, and procurement teams the confidence that their workforce is protected by the best available technology.

PetroHab™ was founded with a singular purpose: to protect the lives of workers in the oil and gas industry. Based in Houston, Texas — the energy capital of the world — we bring together engineering expertise, patented technology, and deep industry knowledge to deliver safety solutions that perform in the harshest conditions on earth. Our entire product line is Made in the USA, and we source all components from U.S. companies — right down to the virtually fireproof Kevlar thread used for all stitching. Our extensive three-level training program ensures that certified PetroHab technicians are among the most experienced HWSE technicians in the world. As a testament to that training, an average of four PetroHab personnel working on a 28/28 rotation on a platform off the coast of Africa successfully erected and disassembled close to 500 habitats — varying from 2 to 200 cubic meters — with zero lost-time accidents or incidents.
