The End of Zipper Failure
Quadra-Lock® is PetroHab's patented panel interlocking system that allows HWSE panels to be affixed to each other in virtually limitless configurations — quickly, securely, and without zippers. Unlike competitor products that rely on zippers (which are prone to failure, jamming, and degradation in harsh environments), Quadra-Lock® provides both great shear and tensile strength at every panel junction. A standard 2m × 2m × 2m Petro-Habitat™ can be assembled and fully pressurized in as little as 30 minutes.

The World's Only IEC 60079-13:2017 Certified Shutdown System
PetroHab's Safe-Stop™ SSS is patented by PetroHab and is the most advanced automatic shutdown system of its kind — and the only one in the world certified to the latest version of the pressurized rooms standard IEC 60079-13:2017. It continuously monitors overpressure inside the habitat and scans for flammable gases (Methane/LEL) and hazardous gases (H₂S) both inside and outside the habitat. If unsafe conditions are detected, the system shuts down hot work operations automatically — no human intervention required.

Panel Materials & Construction
All PetroHab™ panels are manufactured from U.S.-made premium silver/gray silicone coated fiberglass cloth certified to ANSI/FM 4950. This material withstands continuous temperatures of 1,000°F (over 500°C). Vermiculite pads are rated to 1,500°F. All stitching uses virtually fireproof Kevlar thread. Every component is sourced from U.S. companies.
